A New Beginning
Sometimes God calls us to step out in faith, and when we do so, his plan turns out to be more different and beautiful than we could have ever hoped.
Just over six months ago, we started a journey to plant St. Patrick’s Anglican Church in Sheboygan County. Little did we know that God had something else in mind. As we were gathering our core group, the church hosting us, Trinity Fellowship, experienced a sudden pastoral vacancy and asked Fr. Kevin to step into the gap while they figured out their next steps. What started as pulpit supply transitioned to joint services. Fast forward six months later and, with Bishop Morales’s gracious permission, Fr. Kevin has now officially been called to be Trinity’s permanent pastor.
While Fr. Kevin remains resident in the Diocese Quincy and Trinity Fellowship remains denominationally independent, God is truly blessing this unique opportunity to serve his kingdom – an opportunity stemming from mutual love, a shared history, and an unwavering commitment to the Gospel.
While this sadly marks the end of St. Patrick’s, it marks the beginning of an exciting and renewed ministry in Waldo reflecting a fusion of both our Anglican and Methodist heritages. God is truly at work among us, and we invite you to join us as we continue to follow his plan, living into Christ’s prayer that all following him would be one!
